Mornings, then evenings

There's a smaller early peak too: 18% of messages arrived between 6am and 9am, often around a morning check-in. Lunchtime was the quietest slot, at 7%. The slots aren't all the same length, but the evening still leads hour for hour: about 7.3% of messages an hour, against 5.9% an hour first thing.

By day, Wednesday was the busiest (18% of messages) and Friday and Sunday the quietest (11% and 11%).

About 2,900 messages. Every slot covers at least 50 women. We counted when messages were sent; nobody read what they said.

Questions people ask

When do people use an AI health coach?

In Turtle's data, mostly in the evening: 29% of UK women's messages arrived between 6pm and 10pm, and about 1 in 7 after 10pm.

Method

Timestamps of messages women sent to Turtle's AI coach, 1 June to 30 September 2026, for women with a UK (GBP) account, in UK time. Only the time was counted; message content was not read. Women only, staff accounts excluded; every group shown has 50 or more women and sizes are rounded. This shows a pattern, not a cause. Full methodology.
